In order to give full play to the advantages of human resources, Tonly adopts the matrix organizational structure for its R&D team, which is composed of vertical functional departments (including electronic, structural, software departments and other departments) and horizontal product institutes. Functional departments are mainly responsible for the construction of the R&D system and the backup system of professionals, the construction and promotion of the R&D process and technical specifications of the company, and the improvement of technical strength of the R&D platform. Horizontal product institutes carry out the development of basic projects, customization projects and pre-research projects, and assist in all manufacturing links and solve technical problems related to product projects. 

The company has set up a special fund to hire a number of overseas technical experts, with the aim to realize the leap-forward development of the company’s products in the fields of the R&D and application of acoustic technology, wireless intelligent interconnection technology and precision manufacturing technology. The company established R&D institutes in Huizhou, Shenzhen, Xi'an and Malaysia, made use of local human resources and hired professionals in the fields of electronics, structure, software and acoustics. In this way, the company strengthened the construction of the innovation team and enhanced its innovation ability.

As of December 31, 2022, the Company and its subsidiaries have obtained 862 authorized patents (including 88 invention patents) and 175 computer software copyrights. It boasts strong R&D capability.
